That starts with a solid understanding of the maps you’ll be playing on. If you’re aspiring to climb the ranks and improve your game, you need to know the best agent comps, lineups, and strategies. Just learn to adapt to it.To gain a competitive advantage in Riot Games’ tactical competitive shooter, staying informed about the current Valorant map pool is crucial. It's not perfect, but it's not shitty either, it's just unique and different. Honestly, the Breeze complaining is getting tiring at this point. Which is advantageous to both Attackers and defenders, but as a balance, there are so many angles to check that you have be absolutely sure about where and when you go around the map. It also has the most amount of entry points for attacker into a site a huge potential for lurking. And what does that mean? It means that the defenders have to carefully pick and choose where they throw their utilities and not just shoot them in one choke points where you know they will do some damage. Breeze also has its choke points but have a lot more room to move around and avoid utilities. In that case, Split is shitty map to attack on because the choke points are a death pit into which the defenders can just keep throwing utilities and get free kills or damage. Despite being on of the biggest maps in the game, almost the entirety of it is utilized better than some other maps.Īlso, not being able to just chuck your mollies into choke points all the time is way better than getting stuck in a corner. Unlike Ascent, or Bind where the areas near the spawns are almost always empty after the round starts, Breeze allows for a lot of room to flank and to approach and/or defend an area. It's one of the few maps that sees activity in almost all of its areas. It has its problems, Viper being a must pick being one if the major ones, but overall it allows the game to be played in ways that is not possible or as effective as om other maps. Breeze is way different than most other maps, so people hate it. This is more of lack adaptability than anything else. You basically always need a smoke on A to block off the double door angle when pushing in so the bomb holder can plant safe. You need to constantly change up your smoke postions based on where the enemy likes to play. Paranoia the left side of site (left if you are standing in B main). Paranoia isn't the strongest on A site attack. Its basically a free kill if they push halls. You can also TP into the cubby in halls without being seen or heard. On defense he can hold some pretty nasty off angles with his tp such as on top of half wall on B and on top of bricks on A. You need your team to apply pressure and bait util without executing. If your team plays fast, Omen is a bad pick. Smoke for your team and try and find good timings through mid or halls. Its also pretty easy to pass chamber trips in halls. Omen TPs on breeze can cross large sight lines without being seen.
